Description

Berona is an attractive flat, square edged fibre cement slate that is manufactured to the highest European standards. They are lightweight, pre-holed and are easy to handle and install. Berona slates are durable and an economical choice for all project types.

Berona slates are manufactured using Portland cement together with a non-asbestos formulation of superior blended synthetic and cellulose fibres. The slates are pigmented during production and are fully compressed. Berona slates conform to class B in strength, the highest classification for fibre cement slates which are manufactured in accordance with European Norm EN429 – the European Standard for the manufacture of fibre cement slate. They are finished with a high quality semi-matt acrylic coating to the top face and edges, with a tinted high performance binder applied to the back face.

Berona slates are produced in accordance with ISO-9001 (Quality Management System), ISO-14001 (Environmental Management System) and carry the Environmental Protection Declaration EPD-CEM-2012211.
